Chuck Salisbury
Charles "Chuck" Salisbury, the author of this book, was born, raised and educated in Peoria, Illinois. Later, he served with pride in the U.S. Marine Corps as a communication specialist, where he was instrumental in helping move military systems from hardwired connections to modern wireless communication, helping to revolutionize how Marines connected across great distances. Following the military, Chuck transferred his talents to the civilian world and joined a private company who worked on developing a breakthrough typeface to help make newspaper text editing easier and faster, long before the digital age.
However, Chuck’s journey ended there. Having a strong passion for business and a strong desire to help people grow, he then went on to found Number 1 Investments which grew into one of the fastest growing investment firms in the country. Over the years, he has been investor, stockbroker, football coach, mentor and business consultant, and, more recently, author.
Chuck lives a life with purpose and faith and his story reflects those elements. Visitation Day is such an amazing example for his heart, vision, and what he is doing. He writes about his own experiences as a soldier, business man and person of faith, and he writes to inspire others. Chuck lives life with passion and a desire to uplift, guide, and encourage others.
